Hello Friends!
I enjoyed a lovely second weekend here in London full of many fun adventures! It began with a very happy breakfast...
On Friday, since most of us did not have classes, we decided to go shopping on Oxford Street! We primarily checked out Primark (cheap, huge clothing store), Waterstone (nice bookstore), and Selfridges (big department store) along with other street vendors along the way.
In the afternoon, a few of us had a fabulous time at The Muffin Man, an old english tea shop right around the corner from Atlantic House! I enjoyed a hot chocolate and two crumpets which were delicious =)
After dinner with Richmond, my group of friends went to The Builders' Arms pub, which is right on the corner of our street. We had fun hanging out there and compiling a "bucket list" of everything we want to see and do in our time abroad!
Saturday began with an excursion to Covent Garden Market (craft show, food, performers, bustling atmosphere!) which was tons of fun to walk around and shop through! We also went to The Nags Head for lunch where I ordered traditional fish and chips for the first time since arriving in London!
Next, I rode the London Eye!! It was a cold day, but there were blue skies and it was so cool to see the view from the top!!
We finished off the evening with dinner at Wagamama.... thanks Bailey and Hanna for the tip! =)
Sunday consisted of an awesome day trip to Bath! After the 2 1/2 hour bus ride, we toured around the city of Bath, went out to lunch, and toured the Roman Baths then headed back! All in all a very cool excursion!

And lastly I am finishing off this great weekend tonight by watching Downton Abbey! It is crazy to look back and see everything I have done since arriving here almost 2 weeks ago! What an incredible journey studying abroad has been so far!
A special shout out today... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DREW!! I am looking forward to celebrating with you when you come to visit! =)
