Team Bennett Takes on London!

This weekend was terrific with Team Bennett reunited and taking on London!!! It was wonderful to catch up and just be together, while we jammed in tons of terrific London sites too!!

On Thursday, after everyone arrived, we took a double decker bus to Camden Market, shopped all around Harrod's, and enjoyed Da Mario's for dinner!!

Friday we toured the Chelsea Football Club Stadium (Stamford Bridge), Tower of London, and the HMS Belfast with our London Passes!  We also checked out Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, finishing off the evening at Ye Old Cheshire Cheese (a traditional London pub since the 17th century)!

On Saturday we went through Kensington Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Churchill War Rooms, and the Beefeater's Distillery with our London Passes.  We also saw the show 39 Steps that evening and had dessert at Wafflemeister!

Easter Sunday we went to the Columbia Road Flower Market, the Methodist Central Hall Westminster church service, Buckingham Palace and St. James Park, Covent Garden Market, the Cinderella Exhibition in Leicester Square, South Kensington and the Parent Trap House, and Hyde Park and the Peter Pan statue!

What a weekend!!!  Unfortunately it was chilly and mostly cloudy the whole time...  I suppose they did get a feel for authentic London weather though!  None the less, it was really special to be able to show my favorite people where I have been living and some of my favorite things I have enjoyed this semester here in London!!

Can't believe I only have one month left here!! I have a feeling this time is going to just fly by!! =)
