The weather here this week has been wonderful!! On Monday I took a train to Hampton Court Palace and an Easter Fair that was going on in the Hampton Court Green! I really enjoyed walking along the river and through the palace gardens. The Hampton Court Palace was originally built for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey by King Henry VIII, and was extensively expanded under King William III. It, along with the fair, was bustling with many families enjoying the beautiful sunny day!
Tuesday afternoon Kelsey, Allyson and I ventured over to Greenwich! We explored the market there and also Greenwich park and the Meridian Line!!
On Wednesday, Meg and I decided to bike to our class at the Tate Britain, which was really great! After class, I continued on to Covent Garden Market to work on a paper for my History of London class!
Thursday after class, Allyson and I got lunch from Sainsbury's and had a picnic in Hyde Park! There were so many people out and about... it was just beautiful! Also... what a view!! I still absolutely love being so close to Kensington Palace here!
Today, while the sun has been shining outside, I have been working on assignments for classes. We did take a short break this afternoon though to check out the Cadbury chocolate McFlurries that are here for a limited time!!
In the evening Kelsey, Meg, and I also decided to hop on a random double decker bus and get off somewhere for a new adventure! We ended up on Baker street and got a picture with Sherlock Holmes! =)
